ART BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER.

Cornerstone Creative Arts believes some of the most meaningful creative experiences happen when artists, audiences, neighbors, organizations, and ideas share the same space.

Our Community Events are designed to make the arts accessible, welcoming, and connected to Petersburg—creating opportunities to experience something new, meet local creatives, participate in the process, and simply spend time together.

MORE THAN A PERFORMANCE.

Throughout the year, Cornerstone will host and collaborate on events such as community arts celebrations, open houses, artist meet-and-greets, conversations and talkbacks, showcases, pop-up performances, creative networking events, family programming, community workshops, and special collaborations.

Some events will entertain. Others will educate, celebrate, introduce new ideas, or create space for important conversations.

All of them begin with the same idea:

Our community is part of the production.

CREATED WITH PETERSBURG.

We want our events to reflect the people, stories, history, creativity, and conversations happening around us.

That means partnering with local artists, businesses, schools, nonprofits, cultural organizations, advocates, neighborhoods, and community leaders to create experiences that belong to Petersburg.

Have an idea for an event or collaboration? We want to hear it.
