WHAT YOU KNOW COULD BE SOMEONE ELSE'S BEGINNING.
Great arts education happens when knowledge, experience, and creativity are shared.
Cornerstone Creative Arts is building a growing network of artists, educators, designers, technicians, musicians, makers, producers, and industry professionals interested in teaching, mentoring, and helping others discover what's possible in the creative arts.
Whether you've spent years in the classroom, built a career in the industry, developed a specialized skill, or simply have valuable experience worth sharing—there may be a place for you at Cornerstone Creative Arts.
BRING YOUR EXPERIENCE INTO THE ROOM.
We're interested in teaching artists across the creative process, including:
Acting • Voice • Musical Theatre • Dance + Movement • Audition Technique • Directing • Choreography • Music Direction • Stage Management • Scenic Design + Construction • Lighting • Sound • Costumes • Props • Hair + Makeup • Photography + Film • Production Management • Producing • Marketing + Publicity • Arts Administration • Creative Leadership
And that's only the beginning.
If you have a creative skill, perspective, or area of expertise that could inspire or prepare another artist, we want to hear about it.
TEACH. MENTOR. CONNECT.
Opportunities may include classes, workshops, masterclasses, private coaching, school and community programs, youth programming, production mentorship, artist talks, demonstrations, intensives, residencies, and special projects.
Some opportunities may be ongoing. Others may be a single afternoon, weekend, production, or masterclass.
We are especially interested in professionals who believe that arts education should be practical, welcoming, collaborative, accessible, and connected to real creative experiences.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A TRADITIONAL TEACHER.
Some of the most valuable lessons in the arts come from people who have actually done the work.
A lighting designer can teach more than lighting.
A stage manager can teach leadership.
A costume designer can teach storytelling.
A working musician can introduce someone to a career they never knew existed.
A producer can help turn an idea into something real.
Cornerstone creates opportunities for working professionals to share what they know without requiring every teaching artist to follow the same path into education.
Experience matters. So does the ability to communicate, encourage, collaborate, and create an environment where people can learn.
HELP BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT.
Our approach connects:
EXPOSURE → EDUCATION → TRAINING → EXPERIENCE → MENTORSHIP → PRODUCTION → CONNECTION → OPPORTUNITY
Teaching artists are part of every step.
You may introduce someone to an art form for the first time, help an emerging artist sharpen their craft, mentor someone through their first production credit, or make the professional connection that opens their next door.
THE PRODUCTION IS PART OF THE EDUCATION.
And the people willing to share their knowledge are part of the foundation.
