Take what you've learned into the rehearsal room, theatre, shop, booth, backstage, or production office.

Assistant + Apprentice Opportunities
Work alongside experienced creative and production professionals while developing practical skills and credits.

Create alongside Petersburg artists, organizations, businesses, and neighbors through projects connected to the community around us.

YOUR FIRST CREDIT HAS TO COME FROM SOMEWHERE.

One of the hardest parts of entering the arts can be getting the experience required to earn more experience.

We want to help change that.

Whenever possible, Cornerstone Creative Arts will create opportunities for students, emerging artists, assistants, apprentices, and early-career creatives to work alongside experienced professionals.

You might take your first lighting workshop and eventually assist a designer.

You might audition for one production and discover that you love stage management.

You might enter as a volunteer, meet a mentor, build a portfolio, earn a production credit, or discover a creative career you didn't know existed.
