GREAT ART IS NEVER CREATED ALONE.
PARTNERS IN CREATIVITY. PARTNERS IN COMMUNITY.
Cornerstone Creative Arts believes meaningful creative work happens through collaboration.
Our partners are more than names on a program. They are businesses, nonprofits, schools, artists, educators, community organizations, cultural institutions, advocates, and neighbors who share resources, expertise, ideas, spaces, and opportunities to help strengthen the creative community in Petersburg.
Together, we can create experiences that reach beyond the stage.
PRODUCED BY PETERSBURG
PRODUCED BY PETERSBURG is our commitment to creating with our community—not simply presenting work to it.
Whenever possible, Cornerstone Creative Arts seeks to work locally: engaging Petersburg-area artists, purchasing from local businesses, collaborating with community organizations, activating local spaces, and connecting our programming to the people and stories surrounding us.
A production may begin inside a rehearsal room, but its impact can extend throughout the community.
When you partner with Cornerstone Creative Arts, you become part of that process.
WAYS TO PARTNER
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Nonprofits, advocacy organizations, neighborhood groups, and community organizations can help connect our artistic programming with the people and issues represented in the stories we tell.
Partnerships may include community conversations, educational resources, outreach initiatives, special events, audience engagement, and opportunities to connect attendees with organizations already doing meaningful work in our community.
EDUCATION PARTNERS
We welcome partnerships with schools, colleges, educators, youth organizations, and arts programs.
Together, we can create workshops, student experiences, mentorship opportunities, internships, masterclasses, technical theatre training, production experiences, and pathways for young and emerging artists to continue developing their craft.
CREATIVE + ARTISTIC PARTNERS
Cornerstone Creative Arts welcomes collaboration with performers, musicians, designers, directors, technicians, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, craftspeople, and other creative professionals.
Our goal is to build a network in which artists can share expertise, develop new work, mentor emerging creatives, and find opportunities to create here in Petersburg.
BUSINESS PARTNERS
Local businesses are an important part of a thriving arts community.
Partnership opportunities can include production sponsorships, cross-promotion, audience offers, hospitality, printing, materials, services, employee engagement, event collaborations, and other creative partnerships.
Whenever possible, we want a Cornerstone Creative Arts production to generate opportunity beyond our organization and encourage audiences to experience more of Petersburg while they are here.
VENUE + SPACE PARTNERS
The arts can happen almost anywhere.
We are interested in collaborating with theatres, historic properties, galleries, schools, businesses, churches, community spaces, outdoor venues, and property owners interested in activating spaces through performances, rehearsals, workshops, exhibitions, and special events.
MORE THAN A LOGO.
We value visibility for the organizations and businesses that make our work possible, but partnership with Cornerstone Creative Arts can be much more than placing a logo on a poster.
We want to create relationships that make sense for both organizations and the community.
Depending on the partnership, opportunities may include recognition on production materials, website and social media visibility, program advertising, event presence, complimentary or hosted ticket experiences, employee or client engagement, educational collaborations, community programming, and recognition as part of our PRODUCED BY PETERSBURG initiative.
OUR COMMUNITY IS PART OF THE PRODUCTION.
For productions that explore significant social or historical subjects, Cornerstone Creative Arts will seek partnerships with organizations that bring knowledge, experience, resources, and community perspective to the conversation.
That may mean inviting an organization to provide educational resources in the lobby, participating in a post-show conversation, helping us develop community programming around a production, or connecting audiences with opportunities to learn, volunteer, seek support, or become involved.
The goal is not simply to tell important stories.
It is to connect those stories to the people living them.
BECOME A CORNERSTONE CREATIVE ARTS PARTNER
Whether you represent a local business, nonprofit, school, arts organization, community group, venue, or creative practice, we would love to explore what we can build together.
You don't need to arrive with a fully formed idea. Some of the strongest partnerships begin with a conversation.
Bring your resources.
Bring your expertise.
Bring your people.
Bring your ideas.
We'll bring ours.
Together, let's create something that belongs to Petersburg.
PRODUCED BY PETERSBURG.
